Wild Horse


“Those horses on the other side of the fence act wild,” Bobby points out.  The spotted stallions and mares run free through the scrub brush and rocky hills. “Perhaps we should rustle a couple.”

“You can try,” John answered. “But God’s declared those horses be free. See that house there, on the hill?”

Bobby nodded.

“They built the fence around the mustangs with the goal to tame them. Curse upon curse plagues that home and any who try to break those horses.”

The horses ran over the top of the hill, and Bobby let them go.
