Blueprints – #Cinquain

Blueprints
Incomplete dreams
Weigh heavy, lingering,
Until savings are devoted.
Mission.

This was written for Colleen Chesebro’s Tanka Tuesday #133plan and spend.

My dad built houses when I was little (he’s a professional alcoholic now).  Even though he had only a high school education, he would make blueprints of houses and build them for people. They were lovely. I remember making blueprints as a child of the house I wanted when I grew up. Now, I don’t think I’ll ever actually have a KFC or a Walmart in my house, but I like the idea that a fine house has always been part of my life mission.

The last part of my blueprint is just to finish paying off the loan…

  1. Jules says:

I have dreams of homes I’ve never lived in. Sometimes I try to capture those blueprints.
Having a goal is a good thing. We always get used cars…(except for that one time…)
No loan is a good loan 😉 Good Luck!
