So, funny story…
This thing likes to lay on the fan vents of my laptop.
And would you believe it – the fans stopped working.
At this moment, I do not have an internet-connectable computer on which I feel comfortable logging in to WP. I have my phone, but you know what a horrible thing it is to type on a phone.
Sadly, this means I probably won’t be making posts until that thing returns. I will slow in reading everyone else’s stuff. NOTHING WILL GET DONE AND I WILL BE UPSET.
Hopefully Covid won’t delay my return too long. I expect 2 weeks right now.
I will be pn Twitter some, but my Goodreads is basically going dark until I get back. 😦

It’s frustrating, but I’ll get through it. Maybe it will be relaxing.
Compressed air shot into the fan vents helps to release any fur and dust clogging the works. I need to do it regularly (not having double-glazing) otherwise rats take up residence in the interior and hold my graphics chip to ransom.
His hair is so bad… I opened it up, and the 10-inch long hairs are wrapped around the bearings. I think the bearings broke to make it so loud, and I can’t replace the fan myself, so… here we are, I guess.
Gosh, that’s not good, is it. It makes me grind my teeth. Essential shops only, our government said, and probably yours too, and promptly closed shops dealing in computers and computer repairs. At a time when our sanity relies on internet connection, and not everyone has a *smart* phone.
I found a guy who’s doing limited repairs out of his house while he can’t go to the shop. It was an interesting dropoff.

Yup.
When my computer died I ended doing all my posts on my phone. Ok, I had to stop the Sky-Pirates story, but I became more and more adept at writing WordPress posts on my phone. I think the three part story about the Sith Inquisitor was done on it, among other things…
Wow – I do remember that! I’m probably not going for it, haha. I think I’ll try to use the time to work on meditation, reading, and re-learning to hand write, haha!
Heck, I struggle with simple texts on my phone. Seriously, using speech to text is dangerous. 🙂

Well, I just got the computer back – and once I get somewhat more caught up with reading and responding, maybe I’ll make a new post, haha!
Stay safe. All of our schools have shuttered for the rest of the year. Our own local government say they will fight any attempt to open anything too early.
And just for giggles we had some small hail/snow for about ten minutes just now.
With everyone ‘online’ stuff is running slow so don’t get too upset when you are able to return.
Good lord, hail and snow… that would be too much for me right now.
